Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:
Intermittent Audio Prayer Break:
(Available When God Says So – Listen and Pray Along)
Lord, Your Word has been designed as an instrument for deliverance. It is complete, active and powered by You. It is enough and I am enough to confidently read and meditate on its truths. I feel Your power, while I utilize the Word of God in prayer, as I strive to connect with You. Let me lift You up so that others may feel Your presence and see You moving within their set of circumstances.
Lord, let Your Word do what it is intended to do.
You require nothing out of the ordinary of me, for I am special as I am, sufficient as You made me to be. For I am Your chosen child, still growing, still learning, still finishing my process, letting Your Word do what it was uniquely created for, fulfilling it’s purpose, and soothing every doubt that comes to destroy.
Heavenly Father, creator of all, grant me the mind that is required to study this Book of Instruction continually. I yearn to meditate on it day and night so I will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will I prosper and succeed in all that I do.
I consent to allowing self to die and giving way for Your Word to rise up in Victory!
For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes my innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from You, God. Everything is naked and exposed before Your eyes, and You are the one to whom I am accountable.
Lord, I am never shaken when my eyes are on You.
All of the reasons why I feel ill-equipped to come to Your Word, is engraved null and void. The Bible is for me. The Bible is for now, and when my memory fails me, I am able to grab a hold of it, both in my hands and in my heart. It becomes alive on the pages and completes its intentional charge. It pierces my heart and when I am receptive to Your objective in that moment, Your Word, through the Holy Spirit, completes its designated purpose within me.
When I turn the light upon myself, my insecurities are laid bare for all to see. In those moments of shame and self-doubt, I find myself withdrawing and turning away from You. But when I rotate my attention and walk towards You, safely into the light that guides me from here to there, I begin to fall in line with the shadow of life that protects and covers me. You are reflected in all that I say and do, because I am cooperating and letting Your Word “do what it do”.
Your Word comes to authenticate my very existence. For in Your Word, I see myself; my frailty; my breakdown. But it comes to give me hope for a better way, one where Your love abides in every crack and crevice that I try to hide from You.
Your Word takes the shattered remnants of days past and unites the pieces to the puzzle of my life.
For I know You Lord are always with me. I will not be shaken, for You are right by my side. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. I come to the realization that my feelings have no place at the table, if I’m going to let Your Word do what You will have it to do.
Let all that I am wait quietly before You, God, for my hope is in You. You alone are my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from You, O God, alone. You are my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
As I come with a heart of gratitude and a sense of urgency within this prayer, let my words, which come to life by Your great power, encourage those who read or hear them.
“O my people, trust in Him at all times. Pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge.”
God, let Your Word do what You intended for it to do!
This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
