(Intentional Prayer)
Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:
Lord, I know You are always with me. I will not be shaken, for You are right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.
You are my comforter and my guide. When the world becomes confusing and sometimes crushing, You are my Way of Life.
For Your Word says that You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever. I have no reason to fear. I am not out here all alone because You are the Way of Life.
As long as I follow You, I am always heading in the right direction.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for a made up mind; for a mind that is constantly taking into consideration, “What would my Savior have me to do?” I will not allow my inner thoughts to lead me astray. I draw all that I need from being in Your presence.
I am never on this voyage alone.
Even if my father and mother abandon me, You, Lord will hold me close. Teach me how to live, O Lord. Lead me along the right path…
I will forever give Your name the praise.
I will Praise the Lord! For You have heard my cry for mercy. You are my strength and shield. I trust You with all my heart. Mighty King, You help me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Thank You for being my Way of Life.
This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

- I Have Authority(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, I come to you today as a reminder to myself that I have authority through Jesus Christ. I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. When I feel lost or confused, I will turn to Your Word and gain strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek deliverance because it is for those who ask and want it […]
- Gotta Ask(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, I thank You for another day to come to You in prayer. I come with a spirit of thanksgiving and adoration for You being God and Lord over my life. I seek to humbly come before Your presence each day. Let my prayers be effective and reach Your ear and heart of understanding and when I pray amiss, Lord, guide me into all truth and give me direction for the next steps within my life. As Jesus instructed, I will keep on asking, and I know that I will receive what I ask for […]
- The One – Higher Than All the Heavens(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, because I have been called by You, I will lead a life worthy of my calling. Teach me to always be humble and gentle. Honor my steps to be patient with others, making allowance for other’s faults because of my love, this Godly love that you have demonstrated towards me. Lord, I desire to make every effort to keep myself united in the Spirit, binding myself together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit […]
- Aim High(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Lord, I want to do all that I can to live in peace with everyone. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result. I mustn’t allow my emotions to control or dictate how I move forward in that connection. I must choose to set my feelings aside and do what is best to allow Your good plan to prevail […]

Amen! Totally agree with this. The essence and root of faith is knowing deep within that He is there for us. When we rely on, lean on, press our whole being into Him, Jesus is there. We are never alone for He is with us.
