I Have Authority

(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, I come to you today as a reminder to myself that I have authority through Jesus Christ. I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole.

When I feel lost or confused, I will turn to Your Word and gain strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek deliverance because it is for those who ask and want it.

Deliver me from every evil spirit that Satan sends to destroy me and help me to put my focus on You.

I have been given authority over all the power of the enemy, and I can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure me. Oh, what a blessing this is for me in my life, if only I will remember the authority that I have.

Let me not forget the benefits that I have been afforded when I accepted you as Lord and Savior of my life. I have so much working in my favor, but let me remember to do my part and not just sit idly by as Satan attempts to zap the life from me. I am healed! I am delivered! I am set free!

You are the God of peace! That is who You are to me; and as such, You will crush Satan under my feet. Thank You for Overwhelming Victory!

You go with me! You will fight for me against my enemies, and You will give me victory! I give thanks this day and always, as my soul yearns for You. I have authority and I exercise it in this very moment to take back all that Satan attempts to strip from me. I am blessed and highly favored and I will never forget all that You have done for me.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
