He Gives Good Gifts

(Intentional Prayer)
Pray the Scriptures: Lord, Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. I adore You as the one who is over all things. Nothing is outside of Your control, O God, and You know what is best for me. Absolutely nothing happens in my life that You are not privy to. Your desire is that I converse with You and pour my heart into Your lap, as a child seeking reassurance from a loving parent. You have good gifts that You desire to pass along to me […]

(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. I adore You as the one who is over all things. Nothing is outside of Your control, O God, and You know what is best for me.

Absolutely nothing happens in my life that You are not privy to. Your desire is that I converse with You and pour out my heart, as a child seeking reassurance from a loving parent. You give the gift of your love and compassion towards me.

You have more good gifts that You desire to pass along to me.

As I follow You, Yahweh Roi, the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything that I need. When my emotions attempt to get the best of me and they fluctuate over the array of possibilities, Your rod and staff they protect and comfort me. I have been given the gift of coming to You in prayer, bringing my heart and placing all of my cares at Your throne of grace.

When I attempt to trust in my own strength, You tenderly remind me that it is You who renews my strength. Because You love me, You guide me along right paths. I only need to place my confidence in You.

I will not allow anyone to mislead me. I will not forget that You, Yahweh Roi, make happen the good that I experience each day; from opening my eyes at morning’s break, to each breath that I proceed to take. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to me from You, my Father, Elohim, God, Mighty Creator, who created all the lights in the heavens. You never change.

I am your prized possession, Your child, chosen by You.

Your dear Son promised that If I remain in Him and His Words remain in me, I may ask for anything I want, and it will be granted.

Oh, what a phenomenal gift!

Just Around the Corner

Peeking my head, just so, around the corner of my wilderness view, I see a hint of “SON” just over the horizon. I feel the power of God manifesting over my life, as I continue taking the necessary steps to my Overwhelming Victory. On this journey toward my promised land, I have some idea about how I believe God wants me to proceed and I am anticipating the move of His victorious hand over my life. Nevertheless, I know that His ways are not my ways and God has no limits. I need to seek Him for HIS direction and the ordering of my steps. I cannot rely on any other source to be my guide, as I continue to venture forward […]

God used someone yesterday to demonstrate a few things to me and I would like to share it with you.

I cannot rely on any other source to be my guide, as I continue to venture forward. I mustn’t look to the left or the right, but straight ahead to the God who brings order and direction according to His plan for my life.

Proverbs 16:3 (NLT) says,
Commit your actions to the Lord,
and your plans will succeed.

You’ve Been Accepted: Partnership Agreement with Jesus Christ

1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) says, “God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Being in partnership with Jesus Christ fits all of the pieces of our lives together like that of a puzzle. It does not matter how many scattered parts of your life there are, God has a place for each piece. He connects them together to form a beautiful picture of your life in Christ Jesus. Once we are in agreement with Him, our lives flow more smoothly and in the right direction […]

Being in partnership with Jesus Christ fits all of the pieces of our lives together like that of a puzzle. It does not matter how many scattered parts of your life there are, God has a place for each piece. He connects them together to form a beautiful picture of your life in Christ Jesus. Once we are in agreement with Him, our lives flow more smoothly and in the right direction. We are no longer going against the current. All of our steps proceed according to God’s will and plan for our lives.

What an amazing partnership this is!

1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) says,
God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Naming of the Partnership

In an earthly partnership, one of the first things you must do is agree on a name for your partnership. Last names can be used, such as Smith & Wesson, or a fictitious name can be adopted. When we entered into our partnership with Jesus Christ our Lord, we took on His name, His identity; we became God’s child and now are in relationship or partnership with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three are one.

I thought about some names that could possibly be used:

  • Blessed to be a Blessing
  • Jesus Christ Victory Central
  • Deliverance HQ (Headquarters)
  • No Longer Bound War Room
  • Face to Face in the Place
  • Heavenly Way the Only Way

These names are interchangeable and can be referred to at any time in reference to the partnership. When you say them, you know that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are present in the board room with you.

In the Waiting

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) tells us, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” But God promised! Have you ever thought or said that to yourself? I’m not just talking about the promises that are easily identified in God’s Word. He spoke to you. He showed you what’s to come […]

But God promised!

Have you ever thought or said that to yourself? I’m not just talking about the promises that are easily identified in God’s Word. He spoke to you. He showed you what’s to come. You know it was Him, but yet, nothing! Time is slipping away. Things appear to be escalating. Your stress level is to the max. Nothing seems to be going in the right direction. That promise is still left unfulfilled.

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, if you are a Bible Scholar or just know one passage of scripture, “Jesus wept”, waiting is the absolute hardest of tasks known to mankind. It affects every one on some level. Our human nature struggles with waiting.

Frustrating? That simply is an understatement. It looks as though you are traveling down a long winding road with no light to guide your path and no signs posted indicating which way you are actually headed. Despair unsettles you. The waiting seems purposeless. But, is it?

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) tells us,
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

It’s all about how we wait on the fulfillment of those promises. Are we really “waiting upon the Lord”? Are we trusting Him and taking His promises to us as truth? If we are, then God’s Word tells us that He will renew our strength. We will be able to run (get through our days), and not be weary. We will be able to walk this path called life and not faint.
