Lord, when I come to You, tired in my body, exhausted in my thought processing, frazzled in my soul, I know that I come to the God of my salvation who offers complete rest for me.

El Shaddai, God Almighty, I know that I am able to transfer all that I carry, upon Your shoulders, releasing the heaviness that this life attempts to outfit me in each day. From Your well, filled with unconditional love and grace and mercy, I am able to draw all the resources that I need.

As one of the many benefits offered to me, You so graciously maintain an open door policy, through Jesus Christ, which always and without reservation needed, allows me to lay my weight upon Your throne. When I come to You, in my weary condition, carrying these heavy burdens, You provide the accommodations and rest that is essential to me. When I take Your yoke upon me, You teach me, because You are humble and gentle at heart, and I will find rest for my soul. For Your yoke is easy to bear, and the burden You give me is light.

I praise You for Your provision of rest that covers me.

Separated for a Purpose

As I was searching the scriptures, my eyes were opened to a different view. Stick with me for a second. In my reading, I came across this passage of scripture in the book of Psalms. Psalms 55:6-7 (NLT) says, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove; then I would fly away and rest! I would fly far away to the quiet of the wilderness.” To the quiet of the wilderness. Wow! I really haven’t sat down to think about the quiet of my wilderness. Who knew that the wilderness could be experienced as a way of escape from the problems and pressures of life. For so long, I have believed my wilderness experience to be solely dreadful; no real happiness or fulfillment until I am able to get all the way through. Let’s take a look at this for a moment […]

As I was searching the scriptures, my eyes were opened to a different view. Stick with me for a second.

I have mentioned within several posts of being in a wilderness experience. In this experience, there has been lots of turmoil and my only way through has been to place my focus on God. There have been many spiritual battles along the way, which have changed the core of who I once was. My strength is not at the level it formerly has been. My mental capacity has become limited in the things in which I am willing to carry. That has meant concentrating on giving everything to God and inquiring of Him for direction on when I should move. This, of course, has been a daily process, one in which I am still learning, and still growing. I tend to pick things back up, but quickly am reminded of who is in control and where my strength and hope lies.

I have considered these changes in myself to be productive within the aspect of my spiritual growth, but often heartbreaking as I stepped through each phase of the process. This sense of brokenness has been felt, because my life seems to be so distant from life as I thought and feel it should be.

“I’m missing out on life. I have no life.”, are words I have often found myself stating, for the reason that the life I currently have is focused so much on the healing of another. I recognize that God has placed me in this state because of His trust in me to stay in the fight and to never give up on my obligation to fulfill what He has laid within my path to complete.

In my reading, I came across this passage of scripture in the book of Psalms.

Psalms 55:6-7 (NLT) says,
6 Oh, that I had wings like a dove;
then I would fly away and rest!
7 I would fly far away
to the quiet of the wilderness.

“…to the quiet of the wilderness.”

Let’s take a look at this for a moment.

Let It Do What It Do

(Intentional Prayer) – Intermittent Audio Prayer Break
Pray the Scriptures: Lord, Your Word has been designed as an instrument for deliverance. It is complete, active and powered by You. It is enough and I am enough to confidently read and meditate on its truths. I feel Your power, while I utilize the Word of God in prayer as I strive to connect with You. With my voice, let me lift You up so that others may feel Your presence and see You moving within their set of circumstances. Lord, let Your Word do what it is intended to do. I feel Your power, while I utilize the Word of God in prayer, as I strive to connect with You. Let me lift You up so that others may feel Your presence and see You moving within their set of circumstances.

Lord, let Your Word do what it is intended to do.

You require nothing out of the ordinary of me, for I am special as I am, sufficient as You made me to be. For I am Your chosen child, still growing, still learning, still finishing my process, letting Your Word do what it was uniquely created for, fulfilling it’s purpose, and soothing every doubt that comes to destroy.

Heavenly Father, creator of all, grant me the mind that is required to study this Book of Instruction continually. I yearn to meditate on it day and night so I will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will I prosper and succeed in all that I do.

I consent to allowing self to die and giving way for Your Word to rise up in Victory!

For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes my innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from You, God. Everything is naked and exposed before Your eyes, and You are the one to whom I am accountable.

Lord, I am never shaken when my eyes are on You.

Be Still and Know

Have you ever found yourself in a place of quietness, not really understanding your momentary need to shut-down, perhaps asking God, “What is it?  What is it that you want me to hear?” How do we go about acquiring direction?  What needs to occur so that we will know what move is after this? We are faced with questions, questions, and more questions. Psalm 46:10a (NLT) says, “Be still, and know that I am God!” When we reach that point of feeling as though we have nothing left to give, that feeling of blah, we must quiet ourselves and listen for the voice of the Lord […]

Have you ever found yourself in a place of quietness, not really understanding your momentary need to shut-down, perhaps asking God, “What is it?  What is it that you want me to hear?”

How do we go about acquiring direction?  What needs to occur so that we will know what move is after this?

We are faced with questions, questions, and more questions.

Psalm 46:10a (NLT) says,
“Be still, and know that I am God!”

When we reach that point of feeling as though we have nothing left to give, that feeling of blah, we must quiet ourselves and listen for the voice of the Lord.

I believe that everyone reaches that point at some time in their life, and during certain unique seasons of life, maybe even as often as on a daily basis. Our lives may be severely active and we may not know what to hang on to or what to release. In many instances, we have various things that try to come against us, all at once, and we need guidance beyond what our limited resources can handle to make things happen. Other times, the reverse is transpiring, and our lives are empty and bleak. No matter the scenario, we find ourselves stalled and unable to see one foot in front of the other. So what does God call us to do?

Be still my son, be still my daughter, and know that I am God.

We do not have the answer, but He does. We may not know whether to keep straight in the way that we are headed (Is this Your way God?), or to make a quick turn to the left or to the right in order to readjust to the path He has for us, but He desires to order our steps. He is over everything and He knows the best path to take.

Stop! Listen! Do you hear Him calling? Speak Lord, I will hear You!

Psalms 85:8 (NLT) says,
I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways.

What He’s Done For Me

(Intentional Prayer)
Pray the Scriptures: Lord, as I draw closer to You and feel Your presence in all that I do, I choose this day to realize how Blessed I am. I will never forget Your grace and mercy that is showered over my life. Like rain drops that pour from the heavens, so Your love is provided to me as nourishment for my soul. The breathtaking beauty and growth that manifests from nothing that I could ever do on my own is absolutely amazing. As I reflect on how Blessed I am, the tear that trickles down my cheek, is but a minor display of my gratitude towards You. Oh, how You love me! You gave Your One and Only Son, so that not only I, but everyone who believes in You will not perish but have eternal life. Irrespective of all my missteps and points of disobedience, You did not send Him to judge me, but to provide salvation for my soul.

Your sovereignty and plan that I may prosper and have hope in You, brought into existence a way to save me and call me to live a holy life, not because I deserved it, but because that was Your plan from before the beginning of time.

Your evidence of grace through Christ Jesus is why I am Blessed.

Ponder This

Even when my own thoughts try to turn against me, I can pray to You, O Lord, that every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You, O God, is destroyed, in Jesus’ name. When I delight in You Lord and mature in my walk with Christ, any negative thoughts that come to cause me to look back, I will replace them with thoughts of ALL the good deeds you have already fulfilled.

I shall ponder Your deeds!

Your glory and majesty is revealed in all that You do. Because of Your grace and mercy, you cause me to remember Your wonderful works in my life.

I never have to doubt Your love for me. You made me who I am; therefore, I am built to be used by You. Thank you, Elohim, God, Mighty Creator, for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous and I am enough.

I am more than enough because I have the God who is enough. I won’t look back. I will finish the process.

When There Isn’t A Way

God makes ways out of nothing. It’s what He does best. When He created the world, He simply spoke and it was so. God makes ways out of nothing. It’s what He does best. When He created the world, He simply spoke and it was so. With one Word, God changes the atmosphere, literally, and He irrefutably changes things within our individual life circumstances. Does every way that God makes for us happen instantly? In most scenarios, that is not the case. But that is where our faith kicks in. We also can reflect and remember what He has already done in our lives and in the lives of others.

For His desired will to be revealed, we must continue to wait on Him and walk through the process, and sometimes endure the breaking that must occur.

No matter what we currently see or what the end result gives the impression to be, God can make a way when there visibly isn’t one. He can break every chain that comes to block our way to Him.

Genesis 1:3 (NLT) says,
Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Genesis 1:6-7 (NLT) says,
6 Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.” 7 And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens.

Genesis 1:9 (NLT) says,
Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear.” And that is what happened.

Genesis 1:11 (NLT) says,
Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened.

Genesis 1:14-15 (NLT) says,
14 Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years. 15 Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened.

Genesis 1:20-21 (NLT) says,
20 Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:24 (NLT) says,
Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened.

And the very best, He saved for last.

Genesis 1:26-27 (NLT) says,
26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” 27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

God SAID IT and everything was so, based on His Word and authority over all creation.

You don’t have to do it, God, but You do, because You have chosen me as Your own.

In the good times, as well as in those times when I am tested or my heart is in distress, You give me renewed strength, day in and day out. You, O Lord, make it so that I can soar in this life high on wings like eagles. I do not have to stay in my low places, for You, lift me up.

I will walk. I will not faint. You are my helper and my shield.

Lord, in lieu of concerning myself with what You have already prearranged, I will seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and You will give me everything I need.

Thank You Lord for order, and for allowing me to see myself and the area’s that You are telling me to hand over to You. The things that I cannot fix, I must give those back to You and let You do what only El Shaddai, God Almighty can do. My assignment is to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness and all these things, the desires of my heart, will be given to me, according to Your will and faithfulness towards me.

You’ve Been Accepted: Partnership Agreement with Jesus Christ

Being in partnership with Jesus Christ fits all of the pieces of our lives together like that of a puzzle. It does not matter how many scattered parts of your life there are, God has a place for each piece. He connects them together to form a beautiful picture of your life in Christ Jesus. Once we are in agreement with Him, our lives flow more smoothly and in the right direction. We are no longer going against the current. All of our steps proceed according to God’s will and plan for our lives.

What an amazing partnership this is!

1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) says,
God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Naming of the Partnership

In an earthly partnership, one of the first things you must do is agree on a name for your partnership. Last names can be used, such as Smith & Wesson, or a fictitious name can be adopted. When we entered into our partnership with Jesus Christ our Lord, we took on His name, His identity; we became God’s child and now are in relationship or partnership with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three are one.

I thought about some names that could possibly be used:

  • Blessed to be a Blessing
  • Jesus Christ Victory Central
  • Deliverance HQ (Headquarters)
  • No Longer Bound War Room
  • Face to Face in the Place
  • Heavenly Way the Only Way

These names are interchangeable and can be referred to at any time in reference to the partnership. When you say them, you know that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are present in the board room with you.
